Notice of Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Safety Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires all postsecondary institutions receiving federal aid to publish and distribute an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report by October 1 each year. The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes specific campus crime and fire safety statistics and policies for the College. In addition to making the data available to current students and employees, colleges and universities must submit crime statistics to the U.S. Department of Education and notify prospective students and employees that the report is available at the following web address: https://www.wofford.edu/uploadedFiles/Campus%20Safety%20Clery%20Act%20Report%202017.pdf

The report contains descriptions of the College’s various fire safety and security policies and statistical crime and fire safety logs to include the Campus Safety department’s relationship with other agencies, security services, crime reporting, sexual assault and missing student policies, and various crime reporting and education programs.

In addition to accessing the report at the above link, prospective students and employees may request a printed version of the report at no charge by contacting the Wofford College Campus Safety Department at 864-587-4351 or halljr@wofford.edu and requesting the copy. The report may also be obtained by visiting the department in Andrews Field House located at 280 Wofford Campus Drive.
