SPARTANBURG, S.C. – From as close as Wofford College’s admission office to as far away as India, China and England, with assignments as diverse as scientific, robotics and medical research to sports arena operations, banking, sales and marketing to volunteer services and caring for primates, more than 75 Wofford students and recent graduates are gaining valuable experience this summer through a variety of internships.

One group of four students is working in India with The Manipal Group, a conglomerate of financial and industrial companies headquartered in Manipal with corporate offices in Bangalore. Another group is performing different functions at the prestigious Aspen Institute in Aspen, Colo.

Still others are doing independent research and work in their home towns and other locations far and wide.
