Re: Masks and COVID-19 testing update

The college is updating its policy regarding masks and COVID-19 testing beginning Monday, March 28. This reflects public health guidance and low infection rates on campus and in the area.

  • The college is removing the campus-wide mask mandate in classrooms; however, individual faculty members may continue to require masks at their discretion.
  • Masks will still be required in the Wellness Center.
  • Students, faculty and staff may continue to ask others to wear masks in private spaces.
  • Unvaccinated individuals on campus are no longer required to test and submit results weekly.

Remember, if you are feeling unwell, self-quarantine and wear a mask. If symptoms present that are consistent with COVID-19, seek testing through the Wofford Wellness Center or a local testing facility and limit contact with others.
