“Taking groups to India is very personal for me,” says Samhat, a native of the country and an experienced traveler. “It’s not a business. It’s something I do for the love of introducing the wonders of India to friends and family. It’s a culture like no other.”
The five-city tour included Mumbai, Udaipur, Jaipur, Agra (where the group posed in front of the Taj Mahal) and New Delhi.
“No trip exceeded my expectations more than this trip to India with Wofford College,” says a friend of the college. “Prema personally curated an experience that exposed the group to the rich history and incredible beauty … It truly was a planes, trains and automobiles — and rickshaws and bicycles and elephants — once-in-a-lifetime trip.”
The February 2025 trip is already full, but there’s a waiting list, and Samhat is taking reservations for 2026. Email her at samhatpr@wofford.edu for more information.
