The study of film and digital media at Wofford prepares students to be reflective, sophisticated users and analysts of all media, whether as journalists, critics, entrepreneurs, artists, educators or researchers. Students learn the history and theory of film and digital media alongside the skills and expertise to assess, interpret and produce film and digital texts. Students who study film and digital media develop the ability to think creatively in the face of obstacles making them better able to work together to solve problems and to be engaged citizens.
