Wofford men are currently able to join one of 3 NPHC fraternities through Wofford College chapters. Wofford women are currently able to join Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc through the local graduate chapter with hopes to officially charter on campus within the next year as well as Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc through a city-wide chapter hosted by Wofford.
Wofford College will restablish its NPHC Council in the Spring of 2025 now that we have multiple active chapters with membership. Wofford College is actively working to reestablish 1 fraternity with an active charter but no members and looking to expand our NPHC community by chartering an NPHC sorority on campus. If you are a student interested in joining an NPHC organization, please complete the NPHC Interest Form so that the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life can work directly with you to help reestablish NPHC on campus. If you are a national organization looking to expand to Wofford College, please contact us here.
The Wofford National Pan-Hellenic Council governs the active historically African-American fraternities on campus: Omega Psi Phi and Kappa Alpha Psi. This group works to achieve educational, social, economic and political empowerment through the NPHC.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
