Director of Family Philanthropy and Engagement
I graduated from Wofford in 1996, and found my way back in 2000. I started my professional career in the Office of Admission and have also worked in the Office of Philanthropy and Engagement as a major gift officer and with The Wofford Fund. Since moving over to the alumni and parent engagement side of the office in 2013, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many parents. Wofford has recently adopted a new model for parent engagement, and I am especially excited to lead the college’s parent engagement. It is my desire to serve as a bridge between parents and Wofford, making sure that parents are informed and are aware of the many ways they can engage with and give back to Wofford. In addition to my work with parents, I also spend time on the sidelines and courtside of Wofford athletics events. I have served as the color analyst for radio and some television broadcasts of Wofford football and men’s basketball since 1999. It has been a lot of fun and allowed me to see some great Terrier wins! I have two children, Michael ’25 and Lillie. I enjoy golf, hunting and fishing…so let me know if you ever need someone to join you.
I want parents to wish they had attended Wofford for their undergraduate education because of the experience their children enjoy and the way Wofford treats them. I welcome all communications with parents and want them to know that I will do all I can to provide them with the support, resources and answers their family needs. Never hesitate to reach out, and always feel free to stop by and say hello when you are on campus.
