Follow our directions to campus. When you enter the front gates, take the first left into the parking lot. The Office of Admission is located in the Hugh S. Black building.
Wear clothes and shoes that are comfortable for walking.
Information sessions last about 30 minutes and are followed by walking tours of about 90 minutes.
You will see academic buildings, study spaces, a residence hall, and more!
During your senior year, you may request to sit in on a class or meet with a professor. Please see our All Access page for more info.
An interview is not required as part of the admission process. If you would like to have time to speak with an admission counselor individually, contact your admission counselor.
Typically, your student host provide a futon or couch for you to sleep on. We recommend that you bring a pillow, a blanket, a towel, a change of clothes and any overnight necessities. However, if you forget something, we have extras available; please let us know upon your arriva
There will be space to park in the Admission parking lot. Your parents can park here and drop you off, or if you are bringing yourself to campus, you will have a spot in the lot for the duration of your visit
When you arrive, you will want to check in with Admission so we can get you set up for your events. If coming for an overnight stay, we will introduce you to your host who will help you get your things where you will be staying
For students coming for an All Access Visit, we want you to experience what it would be like in a day of the life of a student. Your meals on campus will be covered during your visit. In addition, you can arrange to have lunch with a host (someone different than your overnight host) to get multiple student perspectives
During your entire visit, someone from the Admission staff or a current student will be available to guide you to your next meeting. You will never have to go to a new building without a Wofford expert at your side
The All Access Visit is reserved for seniors who want to get an in-depth look at the college. Juniors in their spring semester as well as rising seniors (the summer before senior year) may be accommodated as space allows.
Unfortunately, the Admission office only accommodates group visits for high school students. However, our campus is open to the public, and you are always welcome to bring your students for a self-guided tour
Yes! We are happy to arrange for you and your student dine on campus in the Burwell Building, our main dining hall. Dining is buffet style and costs $7.10 per person, which can be paid individually or as a group; alternatively, it can be invoiced if arranged in advance with catering service
In the request section, you may include any special requests. Although we can’t guarantee the availability of other departments, we will do our best to address any questions or concerns you may have
We tour the campus rain or shine. While we can provide spare umbrellas for chaperones upon request, we are unable to supply them for the entire group. In cases of severe weather or thunderstorms, tours will be cancelled or concluded early to ensure the safety of our visitors and students
Although we can only accommodate groups of 50 students at a time, we would be delighted to schedule your students to visit on multiple days, ensuring all students can experience campus firsthand. Please specify additional dates suitable for your group in the special requests section of your request.
