On Feb. 23 the college celebrated Mary and Wade Keisler ’80 during a program, ribbon-cutting and lunch for their generous gift that made possible the complete renovation and expansion of the building in the John E. Reeves Tennis Center. The Keisler Family Building includes enhanced team locker, training and meeting facilities as well as offices for coaches.
“The Reeves Tennis Center opened in 1992. It has been a well-used and wellloved facility … the site of many Wofford men’s and women’s tennis victories,” says President Nayef Samhat. “Now, thanks to the Keislers’ gift, it will serve new generations of Terriers, rivaling any facility in the Southern Conference. Student success has always been the first priority for the Keislers. They have supported Wofford by establishing the Keisler Family Endowed Scholarship fund, by serving on the Terrier Club Board of Directors and now through the renovation and expansion of this beautiful building.”
Wade Keisler, a member of the college's board of trustees, spoke during the event, and student-athletes Emely Kahrs ’24 and Ashe Ray ’24 shared stories of impact.
