SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Carolina Panthers are preparing for the team’s preseason game on Friday with the Buffalo Bills by holding joint practices with the Bills Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at Wofford College.
The 9:25 to 11:30 a.m. practices will wrap up the Panthers’ 25th summer training camp in Spartanburg.
“The entire Panthers team – veterans and rookies alike – start the 2019 season and the quest for the Super Bowl championship at the same place: right here at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C.,” says Wofford President Nayef Samhat. “It’s always exciting to have the team on our campus, where preparations for the season begin and where football fans can get their first look at their favorite team and players. The Panthers training camp is consistently a hallmark event not only for the Spartanburg community and the Upstate, but for the entire state of South Carolina.
“We welcome the Buffalo Bills as well for these two days of joint practices,” he continues. “We know this will be a real treat for football fans who come to Camp Wofford, and we wish the Panthers well during this season.”
