Thursday, Oct. 27: Activities begin at 11 a.m. with the Career Center’s second annual BIPOC Brunch. Alumni will be able to meet and interact with current students of color. This event will be held on the lawn of the Meadors Multicultural House.

Thursday, Oct. 27: Sponsored by the BIPOC Faculty and Student Homecoming Committee, the BIPOC Mixer will be held in the Rosalind Sallenger Richardson Center for the Arts from 6:30-8 p.m. This is a meet and greet for alumni, faculty, staff and students of color and will highlight student community engagement and research experiences.

Friday, Oct. 28: The Black Alumni Summit begins with lunch at noon in the Tony White Theater. The annual Black Alumni Summit business meeting will be held from 1:30-3:30 p.m. This event is open to all Wofford faculty and staff. Scholarships will be presented, Diversity Council organizations will present reports, the college will receive a special gift from Omega Psi Phi, and a campus diversity update will be given.

Don Martin, a motivational speaker and author, will participate in the Black Alumni Summit. He is the author of "Black Man, White Industry: My Journey through the Men’s Fashion World," which looks at his career in the men’s fashion industry. He will share his story and copies of his book will be available for purchase and signing. His talk will begin at 4 p.m. and will be held at the Tony White Theater.

A student-organized BIPOC block party will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Evins Street.

Saturday, Oct. 29: The Black Alumni Summit tailgate party will return this year at the Meadors Multicultural AMS House. It will be catered by Wofford alum Richard Brewer ’98 and his wife, Shannan. Food will be served beginning at noon.

After the game, there will be a brief program at the Meadors Multicultural AMS House commemorating the 50th anniversary of Omega Psi Phi’s charter line at Wofford. Alumni and students are invited to celebrate with them. Another NPHC commemorative event for Black History Month will be announced during the summit.
