Students, faculty and staff returning to Wofford College this fall found upgrades to the campus dining services program.

AVI Foodsystems, headquartered in Warren, Ohio, began providing services in July. Chick-fil-A and Boar’s Head deli are receiving an immediate upgrade and renovations in the Campus Life Building.

“As we build our relationship with the campus community, we are already beginning to form our plan for an extensive renovation of the Burwell Building, the location of the main dining facility on campus, in the future,” says Walter Miller, AVI’s resident director for Wofford College.

“We’re excited to transform the culinary program, bringing an entirely new fresh approach. Our plan is focused on the highest quality wholesome ingredients, local sourcing and a customized approach for Wofford,” says Cupcake Wars award-winning Chef Stephan Baity, AVI’s director of culinary operations and resident dining for Wofford.

“Wofford College is excited to partner with AVI Foodsystems as we strive to provide the best amenities for our students, faculty, staff and campus visitors,” says Barbie Jefferson, chief financial officer at Wofford. “We look forward to enjoying the fare AVI will offer and the upgraded facilities that are planned for our campus.”
