The College Archives is the home of the College's permanently valuable records.
These materials include the minutes of the faculty and Board of Trustees as well as the papers of presidents, faculty members, and records of some college offices. The collection also includes registers, catalogues, and honors theses.
Copies of several college publications -- the Bohemian, the College's yearbook; the Old Gold and Black newspaper; and the Journal, which is one of the oldest college literary magazines in the South -- are part of the collections, as are a number of portraits, photographs, and sound recordings. Copies of the alumni magazine are also in the Archives, as are records of athletics teams.
The Archives also collects other documents which record the history of the College, including books and articles by and about faculty members, students, and alumni. A vertical file collection contains information about many alumni and faculty members.
