Catherine Noyes is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. She received a B.A. in American politics from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Prior to joining the American Battlefield Trust in 2014, Noyes worked as a corporate attorney in Charlotte, North Carolina.

At the American Battlefield Trust, Noyes focuses on a variety of land preservation matters, including the trust’s efforts to preserve battlefields from the Southern campaigns of the Revolutionary War. Noyes works in partnership with Doug Bostick of the South Carolina Battleground Trust to lead the development of The Liberty Trail.
