Killed in action.
Bowen was awarded the Air Medal, the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal. He was the navigator of a B-26B Invader bomber with the 90th Bomber Squadron, 3rd Bomber Wing. On December 27, 1952, Bowen was on a night intruder mission when contact with his aircraft was lost. He was missing in action and presumed dead.

Died of wounds.
Haynes joined the U.S. Army from North Carolina and was a member of Headquarters Company 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division attached to the 31st Regional Combat Team. He was hit by enemy gunfire on November 28, 1950, while moving up a hillside near Company A positions. He survived, and he was recovered the next morning and carried to a nearby aid station, where he died soon thereafter.

Died of acute pancreatitis.
Williamson was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, I Corps. He developed acute pancreatitis and was taken to the 121st Evacuation Hospital, where he died.

Frank graduated from Spartanburg High School, and he went on to receive his A.B. degree from Wofford College in 1941. He served with the first battalion at Bataan in World War II and was a Japanese prisoner of war for three and a half years. Burwell was killed in action while serving in Korea.
