The IIE Generation Study Abroad Travel Grants program is intended to diversify study abroad and to encourage students to go abroad who would otherwise not participate in an international experience as part of their college education. High-achieving, low-income students are targeted for support. The Travel Grants are to be used towards travel to and from the country of study and within the region. IIE will offer 100 grants of $2,000 per student.

One Wofford student was selected as a Generation Study Abroad Travel Grant recipient during the 2017-18 application cycle.
