The CETL hosts a number of teaching workshops for new faculty before the fall semester and throughout the academic year. Topics include course design, reflective pedagogy, grading and assessment, assignment creation and problem-based learning.
New faculty also may participate in Open Classrooms, a program wherein more experienced faculty members open their classrooms for new faculty to visit during the first few weeks of the fall and spring semesters.
